Back in the Saddle

We have INTERNET that is reliable! It is amazing how nice it is after weeks and weeks of very spotty and VERY slow connections. So,I am back into it again, posting and downloading like a crazy person. Checking all my sites and scrapbooking a bit too.
We are settling in and enjoying all the newness of the area we are in. Meeting so many wonderful people for whom we are grateful. We are glad to be here.

Packing!!

So we are knee deep in stuff. Dividing, storing, tossing with abandon. I am so glad that we have done this process a few times...it makes it a lot easier for sure! Thankfully I think we have everything sorted and stored so we can enjoy the holiday with our families before packing up to go. New school and new life here we come!

Only two weeks...yes, 14 days...until we ar eon our way. So...in honor of this, here is an ode to the fantabuloso passport photo that is a definite prerequisite to travel. It can only be trumped by the time honored tradition of a horrible driver's license photo....and oh yes, i have a new one of those too! (No glasses, hair behind ears and all!

More scrapbooking today! After weeks of streamlined layouts, I ended up reverting to my old multilayered approach. And today that was a great thing. Here is what I came up with! And now, I am going to get up and move. My behind is getting numb from all this computer time!

I Love Fall!!!

There will definitely be more pictures of this day to come. We all had a blast jumping in the leaves and taking turns raking. I was trying to get a picture of Nev with the leaves around her as she was throwing them in the air...but this mama did not get the shot! But....this mama also knows a bit about Photoshop...so here is Nev throwing her leaves sky high!

Flower Girl

A little project of my lovely girlie...from this summer's wedding. She did so well and went down the aisle, scattering her petals just as she was supposed to. The dress eventually got "too itchy" but it sure was cute on her!
